Attorney Andrew G. Adams, III has been a long-time resident
of the Metro Richmond area. He grew up in Chesterfield County and
graduated with Honors from Monacan High School in 1983. He completed
his undergraduate work at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he
made the Dean's List and was inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha Honor
Society for the top 10% of all communications students. Adams
received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Mississippi College
School of Law in 1993.
Adams ,an active member of the Baraca class at Northminster Baptist
Church, married his wife Andrea in 1996, and they now live together
with their two boys, Josh (4), and Drew (8) in Mechanicsville. Adams
has participated in many community events, including sponsorship of
baseball teams in Varina, and business partnerships with John Rolfe
Middle and other local schools.
After being admitted to practice in Virginia, Adams was admitted to
the United States Bankruptcy Courts in both the Eastern and Western
Districts of Virginia. In addition to handling a wide variety of
criminal and civil matters, Adams was appointed managing attorney
for the bankruptcy division at Affiliated Attorneys,
Inc.--overseeing the firm's four Richmond locations, before opening
his own office in the historic Crozet house, circa 1879, in
beautiful downtown Richmond
